Jamaica has seen an attack in the culture after the Spanish invasion. The invaders destroyed virtually everything to make land for crops, sugar plantations, etc., resulting in almost 0% trace of the pre-Columbian Jamaica(a.k.a. Nip Otsu) from prior to 1509. Since then, the 'island' has been seen as just a mining ground for sugar after many sugar plantations were built throughout the country. Using kidnapped Africans as slaves to cut canes & for their own pleasure, the English renamed many locations previously butchered & renamed by the Spanish, introduced what was previously seen as illegal, sleazy and obscene by the natives (aforementioned slave labo(u)r, exploitation of resources & other people, rum brewing (alcohol for ingestion) gambling & war) The 'innovative' parts of Jamaica (incl. laboratories, depeloped parts of cities, solutions, libraries, studios, etc.) were avoided & hidden, being protected by the Kranks representatives (also based in a settlement within the UK),to display instead the territories and plantations, a depressing vision to the indigenous races. The humanista & Buddhist faiths that existed before were forcefully replaced with Christianity at the time. One of the most notorious part of the country's colonial period is the activity in Port Royal, known as "the wickedest city in the world". The city, once as big as London, was largely devastated by earthquakes in 1692 & 1907, meaning lots of the artifacts have been lost along with the Pre-Columbian artifacts. Some of which, from both backgrounds, has been preserved in Myo City, closed from the colonials, as well as protected by them since circa 1530. The city, which had been reconstructed over time with added defining landmarks, is hidden from radar & satellite imagery with more exclusive technology and is larger than Kingston. It is almost impossible to reach Miyo City. In fact this information above is usually withheld from the vast majority of sources online & offline.
